FAQ

Our most frequently asked questions and answers.

As you can guess, that’s a difficult question to answer. It depends on the home and can vary widely. Our average job is somewhere around $200-300 though if that helps.

It’s seldom that we write up a quote site-unseen. While it does happen in special circumstances we will almost always want to take a look at the property first. If you believe you may be one of those special circumstances, please contact us. Otherwise, you can schedule a time for us to drop by or if your inclined, we also offer quotes over zoom.

Most likely not. Windows can definitely be cleaned in the rain. The claim that rain makes your windows dirty is mostly a myth. While I don’t want to make generalized statements, most likely the reason your windows appear to be dirtier after rainfall is due to rain clinging onto the dirt, dust, pollen etc. aka that was there to begin with.

Most likely that wouldn’t effect services. We continue working until the temperature is 25° F or below.

I figure it goes without saying, but this does not include snow removal services.

If there are pieces of furniture in front of a window, I can help get that moved, but if you have some small things on or near the window sill, it would be very helpful if you would move them…not only will this protect them, but it will help get the job done more efficiently.

The simplistic answer is whenever they are dirty, but the real answer would be at least twice a year to prevent unremovable buildup and hard water. Be extra aware of film buildup from cooking, fireplace smoke, or cigarette smoke.

Most likely it is because you have double-paned windows with a broken seal. When a window seal breaks, the gas between the two panes leaks out, and moisture leaks in which causes the fogginess between the glass. Certainly we can clean your windows, but that will not remove the fog. Before you consider replacing them, check to see if your windows could possibly be under warranty and ensure that the fog is on the inside, preferably by getting them washed by us 🙂
